I had a nice time at City Hotel! The room was spacious with a great view and reliable WiFi. Handy for exploring Shanghai. it’s just a 10-minute walk to the subway. A downside was the difficulty finding it on maps, which led to some confusion on arrival.

The carpets in the hallways are extremely old and unpleasant!!! The electronic keys frequently stop working, causing unnecessary hassle!!! The overall decor feels quite outdated, giving off a vibe of neglect!!!

good location

It was just a great fit for a flash visit in Shanghai with very good value for money. The location was excellent, just a quick walk from the busy shopping areas on Nanjing Road. Go for a room on a higher floor to enjoy a better view.
